UNDP impact investing in Africa: Trends, Constraints and Opportunities report
The UNDP’s impact investing in Africa: Trends, Constraints and Opportunities report outlined the key trends, constraints & opportunities faced by the nascent impact investment sector in Africa and featured evidence based examples from the sector on impact enterprises and practises that could be used to measure, increase and improve Impact Investment in Africa.
Given the billions of dollars annual funding gap required to meet the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the UNDP hoped that relevant stakeholders at national, regional, continental and international level would be inspired by the report, and initiate discussions for a joint collaborative African Impact Investment Action Plan that support the development of a vibrant impact investment sector on the continent.
